One Year Later: November 2013 Graduate And Champion Auctioneer Justin Croy

We are extremely proud of every single graduate from World Wide College of Auctioneering. Col. Justin Croy shares what his year after graduating from World Wide College of Auctioneering in November 2013, has been like.

Col Justin Croy

Since Auction School, the year has been very good to me. Immediately after school I went right back to working the ring for the local auction company that I was with, before I attended the World Wide College of Auctioneering (WWCA).

Being from Indiana, the remainder of the year was spent studying for the upcoming state exam. In Feb 2014 my Grandfather I took a very dangerous two hour drive to Indianapolis in the snow and ice during a state of emergency to be able to take the exam. That drive of two hours turned into four and a half. I was very blessed to pass the test and achieve a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed auctioneer.

The next six months were very busy. I conducted my first benefit auction and also sold at auctions on the mornings of my Senior Prom, and also my H.S. Graduation. Thankfully in June I was blessed to get a full time job with the auction company I had been working for, and was named auction manager. In July of 2014 another dream came true as I was crowned the 2014 International Jr. Auctioneer Champion (IJAC) at the National Auctioneers Association Conference and Show. Representing WWCA and making sure the streak of IJAC winners were WWCA grads.

After winning the IJAC I returned home and continued my job as auction manager until I left for college. I was blessed again when I was crowned the first ever winner of the Indiana Jr Auctioneer Championship in early Nov. and am currently working as contract auctioneer.

The past year has taught me a lot, I’ve made lifelong friends in the auction business that never would have been possible without the wonderful folks at WWCA. Vicky and Paul provide a wonderful service that is second to none. Every instructor at WWCA will bend over backwards to help you, even after you are long gone from auction school. The heart and integrity that each instructor has, shows their love and passion for the auction industry. WWCA was the formal start of my auction career and it has been the best auction decision I have ever made. Come train with the champions, who knows you just might be one of them.

God Bless
-Justin J. Croy
